Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly raped his 12-year-old daughter in their Region One (Barima-Waini) house.
Police Headquarters in a statement noted that the alleged rape occurred between February 28, 2021, and March 01, 2021.
The News Room understands that the child was asleep when the father held her down and committed the heinous act.
The matter was unearthed by the Child Protection Agency and reported to the police on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
The perpetrator, who is also accused of similar offences by others, has fled the area, police said.
