Ranks of the Guyana Police Force in the wee hours of Sunday dispersed a crowd of over 200 persons who were partying at a popular spot in Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara, and arrested several persons who refused to comply with the COVID-19 restrictions.
The operation was conducted at around 02:00hrs.
The GPF is once again appealing to citizens to adhere to the curfew and to further report breaches to the COVID Task Force hotlines: 626-6674, 624-3067, 624-2819 and toll free (GTT) 0180.
