‘Baby Rodas’ needs your help
The Saving Hands Emergency Aid (SHEA) is requesting urgent assistance to fund the treatment of little Baby Rodas, who was diagnosed with a cyanotic congenital heart defect – Tetralogy of Fallot with pulmonary atresia (defect of the heart and its blood vessels).
As such, Baby Rodas requires immediate surgical intervention that is currently not available in Guyana. SHEA reported that while doctors at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPHC) Pediatric Cardiology Clinic valiantly attempted to treat Baby Rodas, his condition continues to worsen as time goes by.
“Therefore, time is of the essence, and we need your help to create a miracle for this child to travel outside of Guyana for urgent medical treatment to help save his life,” SHEA said.
Treatment has been secured for Bay Rodas and works are ongoing for his transfer, however, there is a great need for financial support to make his treatment possible.
