GMR&SC Annual General Meeting set for May 17

The Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) will host its 30^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 17 at the Club’s headquarters at Thomas Road and Albert Street, Georgetown.

In a notice published by Secretary of the GMR&SC, Azim Jaffar, on the Club’s social media page on Thursday (April 22), the agenda items were outlined for the AGM, set for 19:00h.

Apart from the election of members to the Executive Committee and Auditors, members will be presented with the audited financial report for 2019 and 2020, the Treasurer’s report and any other business.

Members must submit to the Secretary in writing seven days before the date of the AGM, the names of persons they wish to nominate for the election to the Executive Committee and such nominations must be submitted with a proposer and a seconder.

Businessman Rameez Mohamed is the current GMR&SC President.
