At around 02:30 hrs on Thursday, seven juveniles escaped from the Sophia Holding Centre, in Georgetown but four of them were recaptured already, according to police reports.
The News Room understands that an alarm was raised subsequently and a quick response from the police led to the recapturing of the three. Shortly after 07:00 hrs, a fourth juvenile was recaptured and taken back to the facility in the company of his mother.
The other three juveniles remain at large as the police continue their search.
