Five of seven juveniles who escaped from the Sophia Holding Centre in Georgetown in the wee hours of Thursday morning have been recaptured.
While four was recaptured early on Thursday, a fifth juvenile was recaptured with the aid of a relative at around 18:45 hrs.
The News Room understands that the juveniles were able to escape after they breached the building and the fence.
Two of the escapees remain at large.
