CANU seizes ganja, arrests man during raid at Corriverton
A raid conducted by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Monday led to the arrest of a man and the seizure of 25.9 kg of marijuana.
A statement from CANU noted that ranks went to a building at ‘AA’ Kingston, Little India, #79 Village, Corriverton where a search was carried out.
During the search in the presence of the owner, 41-year-old Wesley Anthonio Barry, 53 packages containing what is suspected to be marijuana were discovered
Barry was arrested and remains in custody pending charges in court.
The investigation continues.
