Investigations are ongoing into a fatal hit and run accident that claimed the life of John Wickham 35-year-old man of Kuru Kuru Public Road, Linden Soesdyke Highway.
According to police, the accident occurred around 09:30 hrs.
The man, police said, was observed lying on the western side of the Highway with blood about his body.
Bloodstains were also found running along the western side of the road.
He was picked up by police in a semi-conscious condition and taken to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre and pronounced dead.
The body is presently lying at Lyken Funeral Home Mortuary awaiting post mortem examination.
