The match concludes Guyana’s involvement in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification process.
“Blue Water Shipping is proud to support the Guyana national football team for this match. Dedication, team spirit and cooperation are key values for us as it is for Guyana Football Federation,” said Richard DeNobrega, Blue Water Shipping’s General Manager in Guyana.
“We are looking forward to ongoing cooperation in the future – with mutual benefit.”
“A year ago, we established an office in Guyana. Together with our local staff, we as a company are excited to feel the positive atmosphere in football, which is why we have decided to support the event,” DeNobrega said.
Founded in Denmark almost 50 years ago, Blue Water Shipping conducts its operations in areas such as cargo, port services, transport and supply chain logistics from more than 60 offices worldwide.
The firm is actively engaged in serving Guyana’s rapidly-growing oil and gas sector.
“We are delighted to welcome on board Blue Water Shipping to the Guyana Football Federation’s growing family of corporate partners. On behalf of the GFF and the Golden Jaguars, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to the company for its support and commitment to the ongoing development of football for all in Guyana,” GFF President Wayne Forde said.
“We look forward to building on this initial engagement to actively pursue other football projects with Blue Water Shipping, and we will make further announcements on this in due course.” (GFF)
