A Linden woman, so far identified only as “Wanda” was found dead in her house Tuesday afternoon; her son has been taken into custody.
Neighbours called the police to the house at Kara Kara, Region 10, fearing that something was amiss.
When the Police arrived at the scene around 17:00 hrs, they found the dead woman, Police commander Hugh Winter told the News Room. He said the house was in disarray.
The son, who Winter said appeared to be of unsound mind, was inside the house and has been taken for questioning.
Winter said multiple injuries were observed on the woman’s body. The injuries, he said, appeared to suggest she was beaten.
Neighbours say the woman worked as a security guard and lived with her son.
