Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of attorney-at-law, Hubert Nathaniel Rodney, who was found dead in his Durbana Square, Lamaha Gardens, Georgetown house on Tuesday.
Police Headquarters, in a statement, noted that the discovery was made at around 20:00hrs.
The 77-year-old was last seen alive on June 4 taking out his garbage; on Tuesday, residents complained of a foul smell emanating from the victim’s residence.
The police were informed and ranks visited the house when they discovered him lying motionless on the kitchen floor.
No marks of violence were found on his body, which is now at the Lyken Funeral Parlour awaiting an autopsy.
