Police are investigating the armed robbery of a 17-year-old girl who was attacked by two bandits at the ‘Diamond Mart’ supermarket, at Diamond, East Bank Demerara on Wednesday night.
A police report noted that the victim was approached by the two perpetrators at around 19:35hrs, one of whom pointed a handgun to her face and demanded cash.
The armed bandit pushed her to the floor, snatched her Gold AJ8 Samsung cellphone valued at $60,000 and escaped.
