Police are on the hunt for two bandits who robbed two men – ages 41 and 60 – on Wednesday night at Orealla Avenue, South Ruimveldt Gardens, Georgetown.
According to the police report, the men were at the location where construction is ongoing when the armed bandits pounced on them at around 20:30hrs. They were ordered out of the yard and to lie face down on the parapet.
They were robbed of a J2 cell phone valued at $30,000, one LG cellphone valued at $30,000, an A30 cell phone valued at $55,000 along with $172,000 in cash.
The perpetrators escaped on a black and red XR motorcycle. No arrests have been made.
