The Ministry of Health on Sunday reported that another 73 persons have been infected with the novel coronavirus – COVID-19 – taking the total number of infections recorded since March 11, 2020, to 20,378. These new cases were confirmed from 758 tests.
The new cases were recorded in Region One (10 cases); Region Three (11 cases); Region Four (38 cases); Region Five (three cases); Region Six (10 cases) and Region Seven (one case).
Additionally, there are 16 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 1,492 are people in home isolation, nine people are in institutional quarantine and 88 people are in institutional isolation. The total number of people who have recovered to date is 18,304.
