Guyana on Sunday recorded another 29 new COVID-19 cases from 1,327 tests conducted, taking the total number of known cases to 20,953 since March 2020.
These cases were recorded in Region Three (three cases), Region Four (12 cases), Region Five (two cases) and Region Six (12 cases).
Meanwhile, there are 11 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 84 people are in institutional isolation, 1,313 are in home isolation, and no patients are currently in institutional quarantine.
The total number of deaths thus far from the pandemic stands at 492 with 16 of those deaths recorded during this month so far.
There have also been 19,053 recoveries.
