City Magistrate Leron Daly on Tuesday dismissed the charge against Tony Bowen, a Disc Jockey (DJ) known as ‘Mix Master Tony’, who was accused of playing loud music at Taco Loco restaurant located at Durey Lane, Campbellville, Georgetown.

Bowen, 26, of Cummings Lodge, had the charge dismissed by the Magistrate due to it being “bad in law.”

Last Friday, Bowen was placed before the court and pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on July 3, 2021, he disturbed the peace by playing loud music; he was granted $10,000, bail during that appearance.

Bowen’s attorney had told the court that his client was not warned by the police to turn down the volume of the music, and if the ranks had done so he would have complied.
