The Guyana Badminton Association at the weekend resumed its on-court action with an A, B and C Division tournament at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown.

The two-day competition was the first for the Association since December 2019, and was played with strict adherence to the COVID-19 measures.

In an interview with News Room Sport on the sidelines of the tournament, President of the Guyana Badminton Association, Gokarn Ramdhani, said it was well received, with a significant number of players turning up for the Men’s and Ladies Singles event.
