A Roraima Airways aircraft was involved in an incident at the Aricheng airstrip in Region Seven Wednesday afternoon.
“We had an aircraft that had a runway incursion at Aricheng today,” Gerry Gouviea Jnr, Director of Roraima Airways told the News Room via telephone.
The incident occurred at about 16:00h during take-off. The Director stated that there are no reported injuries.
However, the extent of damage to the aircraft is not known at this time.
He said a team will travel to Aricheng on Thursday to investigate the incident.
