A total of 86 new COVID-19 infections were recorded in 24hours from 1, 342 tests. This takes the overall number confirmed cases since March 2020, to 22, 458.
The new cases were recorded in; Region One (two new cases), Region Two (two cases), Region Three (10 new cases), Region Four (47 cases), Region Five (three new cases), Region Six (eight new cases), Region Nine (11 new cases) and Region Ten (three new cases).
There are now 15 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Infectious Diseases Hospital. Seventy-seven patients are in institutional isolation, 665 are in home isolation and four are in institutional quarantine.
The number of COVID-19 deaths is 535. To date, some 21, 166 persons have recovered from the dreaded disease.
