Two men appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, charged with committing robbery with violence.
The duo, Andrew Solomon and Kumar Sansas, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore to hear the charge of ‘Robbery with Violence’ contrary to Section 222 (a) of the Criminal Law Offences Act Chapter 8:01.
The act was committed on 42-year-old Mahadeo Singh of Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, on July 31, 2021. The accused were not required to plea to the charge and were refused bail.
The matter was adjourned to September 23, 2021, and transferred to the Mahaica Magistrate’s Court for report.
