Berbice man who left keys in ignition wakes up to missing car

A Corriverton, Berbice, man who reportedly left his key in the ignition woke up Monday morning to find that the car was gone.

Police reported that the man retired to bed with his wife on Sunday evening, thinking he had properly secured the car, but when he got up at around 05:45h, the car was missing.

The missing car, a Silver Spacio, carried licensed plate number PNN 1775 and was valued at $2,300,000.

The man’s wife made a report to the Police station and an investigation has been launched.

    This to me is totally surprising……I never heard of people having to even lock their cars in Guyana. Surely we do not have a car teef here……..how can we know who he is ? What if it a she?
