A Roraima Airways aircraft crashed on Saturday morning somewhere along the East Bank of Demerara (EBD), near the Haags Bosch Sanitary Landfill site.
This was confirmed by Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill.
According to the Minister, a search and rescue is currently ongoing.
