$25,000 grant for public assistance recipients, persons with disabilities

President Dr. Irfaan Ali announced late Monday night that all public assistance recipients and persons with disabilities will receive a one-off grant of $25,000.

This grant will benefit about 25,000 persons, and place more than $600 million of additional disposable income in their hands.
