Cricket Zone USA, North America’s largest retail cricket outlet, will have a presence at the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2021 with its indigenous E4 line of cricket equipment set to debut in the ‘Biggest Party in Sport.’

All 33 matches of the domestic T20 competition will be held in St. Kitts and Nevis from August 26 to September 15, with four-time champions Trinbago Knight Riders, who had a historic unbeaten run last season, set to defend their title.

The E4 line will be used by Guyana Amazon Warriors opener, Chandrapaul Hemraj, who has fully endorsed the brand, which was conceptualised by Managing Director of Cricket Zone USA, Ravi Etwaroo.

“It’s a Guyanese brand by a Guyanese businessman and cricket enthusiast, so as a Guyanese I’m happy to be the one showcasing it to the world during the CPL,” Hemraj, who represented West Indies in six One-Day Internationals in 2018, told News Room Sport.

The Cricket Zone USA Brand Ambassador added: “I’m looking forward to doing well at this CPL, and having the right equipment is key to achieving that, so I’m thankful for the support of Ravi and the team for having me onboard.”

Jamaica Tallawahs opening batsman, the big-hitting Kennar Lewis, will also use the E4 brand in Hero CPL 2021.

Etwaroo said Cricket Zone USA is not just about business, but also promoting young talents and this is another clear demonstration of fulfilling that mandate.

“We are looking forward to great things from ‘Hemmy’ in this tournament and hopefully his performances can be a driving force in the Warriors winning that title for the first time,” Etwaroo said.

“We also want to wish Kennar success in the tournament.”

The cricket enthusiast highlighted that E4 provides the complete line of cricket equipment, and is highly popular in North America.

Hemraj, the 27-year-old left-hander, has scored 476 runs in 21 innings in CPL history at a strike rate of 115. He has two fifties, the highest of which is 66. His left-arm spin has proven effective in the Powerplay- he has six wickets and a decent economy rate of 6.86.

The Guyana Amazon Warriors will open their campaign against Trinbago Knight Riders on August 26 at 10:00h. The Warriors are aiming for a maiden title after five successful attempts in the final.
