18-Y-O stabbed to death during drunken fight with friend
An evening of drinking with family and friends ended fatally when 18-year-old Roy Boston, a labourer was stabbed to death.
Boston of Swan Village, Soesdyke/Linden Highway was stabbed to the left side chest and right thumb finger during a scuffle his friend, who was identified as Marlon Gills.
Police Headquarters reported that at about 22:15 hrs on Saturday, Boston was imbibing with friends and family at a shop in the village. According to the police, an argument ensued when other persons came to the shop.
“It is alleged that [Boston] pulled out a knife and dealt one of the males a stab to his left his wrist and left side back,” police reported.
It is alleged that after Boston started cursing everyone, the suspect started fighting with him and stabbed him. The suspect escaped from the scene and remains in hiding.
Boston was taken to the Diamond Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police investigations are ongoing.
