Police are on the hunt for two identifiable bandits who held a 13-year-old male student at gunpoint and robbed him of his LG cellphone valued at $35, 000 and $500 in local currency.
Police Headquarters reported that the student was making his way home from lessons at Westminster, Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara, when the two bandits approached him on an XR motorcycle.
The incident occurred at about 16:30h on Saturday.
Police said one of the bandits jumped off the motorcycle and pointed a black metal gun to the student’s head and relieved him of the money and phone and then escaped.
