McPherson, formerly of ‘D’ Field Sophia, was found dead in a yard at ‘C’ Field, Sophia with gunshot wounds to his left side chest and another on his right hand around 04:00 hrs on the day in question.
Police said an unknown woman telephoned the police command center and reported that she saw a body lying motionless in a yard at ‘C’ Field, Sophia. It was reported that the man appeared to have blood on his skin.
According to reports, Nurse is the mother-in-law of McPherson while the three co-accused are said to be friends of her son. On August 14, McPherson was allegedly involved in an altercation with the woman and her co-accused during which he was beaten.
McPherson, however, managed to escape and went home. At almost midnight, he received a phone call from a woman and left his home.
