A Police Constable attached to the Kwakwani Police Station in Region Ten is under close arrest after he allegedly shot 40-year-old Keanon Harry to the groin on Wednesday while responding to a domestic violence report.
Police reported that the incident occurred at a house at the Kwakwani Airstrip Road.
According to the police report, when the cops arrived at the scene, Harry was assaulting the woman who was bleeding from her face.
After the cops intervened, Harry became aggressive towards them and attacked one of the ranks, resulting in a scuffle during which he was shot to his groin area. Harry has been admitted to the Linden Hospital Complex.
Investigations are ongoing.
