Young Achievers remain undefeated in the Demerara Volleyball Association (DVA) League after they emphatically won against Castrol Strikers Volleyball Club 3-1 in a thrilling match held in the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on Tuesday evening.
A confident Castrol Strikers unit came out swinging in the first set winning to win 25-18 but that proved to be the jolt Young Achievers needed.
They bounced back 25-22, 25-12, and 25-22 to close out the game led by Juan Valesquez (13 points), Corwin Richards (11 points), and Klondyke Rodney (nine points).
Young achievers remain at the top of the league table with nine and The league action continues on Friday as Young Achievers takes on Eagles Volleyball Club at 19:30h.
