Everest CC congratulates Nandu on West Indies U19 selection

President of the Everest Cricket Club and Speaker of the National Assembly, Manzoor Nadir, along with other Executives and Members of the Everest Cricket Club wish to offer congratulations to Matthew Nandu for his selection to the West Indies Under-19 squad for their Youth One-Day International tour of England which gets underway September 4.

Nandu, a top-order batsman, who is a member of the club, is one of two Guyanese in the 18-man squad, the other being pacer Isai Thorne from Berbice.

The members of the club send well-wishes to Nandu and hope he and Thorne excel in the six matches and be able to seal a spot in the squad for next year’s Under-19 World Cup which will be held in the Caribbean from January 4 to February 3.

The club also extends its best wishes to the entire West Indies U-19  team on their tour.
