Eagles Volleyball Club rebounded from back-to-back losses as they produced a dominant performance to defeat Young Achievers on Friday evening at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Eagles came out soaring in the first set in the game to defeat Young Achievers 25-16 and despite Achievers took an early six-point lead in the second, Eagles still battled hard to win 27-17.
They closed out the clean sweep of sets with a 25-18 victory and most important, five points to their tally in the Demerara Volleyball Association League.
Quacy Matheson (12 points), Adriel Moore (ten points), and Kristoff Shepperd (eight points) did the damage for Eagles.
The action continues on Tuesday, with Eagles battling Castrol Strikers from 19:00h.
