Cop beaten, robbed at gunpoint by motorcycle bandits

Police are on the hunt for four men on two motorcycles who allegedly beat and robbed a police sergeant on Saturday.

The Guyana Police Force reported that about 07:10hrs, the police officer was robbed of his cellphone valued $40,000 and his gold wedding band.

According to the police report, the officer was making his way to work along the Vryheid’s Lust Access Road, East Coast Demerara when he was confronted by the suspects.

“During the confrontation, he received a lash to his head with the gun while the men robbed him of the articles mentioned,” the police reported.

The officer was treated at the Georgetown Public Hospital for his injuries.

    So will the slo-fyah, mo-fyah…..crowd whine again WHEN their strategy fails and criminals start getting shot?

    The GPF will not tolerate this nonsense without a reply. I hope they catch these four cowards.
