Bandits invade house of Lamaha Park woman
A 43-year-old woman who lives alone at Lamaha Park, North Ruimveldt Georgetown was in the wee hours of Monday awaken by armed bandits who broke into her house and robbed her.
Police said the four unidentifiable males, who all had handguns, took away a television valued at $44,000, a wood drill valued at $6,000 and three Samsung cellphones valued at $165,000.
The woman was reportedly asleep in her house and left the bedroom door opened; at around 03:00hrs, she was awakened by the perpetrators who pointed their guns at her, Police said.
The men then demanded money and valuables and tied the victim’s hands with her bedsheet. They then ransacked her house before escaping.
