Ramlall Madhoo, 51, and his 42-year-year-old wife Camille Dwarka died as a result of drowning and blunt trauma after they fell into a septic tank at Timehri, East Bank Demerara, on Thursday last.
According to a police report, the husband tried to save the wife who fell into a septic tank. Both individuals, however, died.
A post-mortem examination was performed on the couple. And, information provided by the public relations team of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) indicated that the woman died of blunt trauma to the head, while her husband died by drowning.
