A 38-year-old gold miner was on Wednesday released on $65,000 bail for allegedly exposing his penis to a female; he also faced other charges.
Lenroy Allman of Diamond Squatting Area, East Bank Demerara, appeared via Zoom before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
He denied the first set of charges alleging that on September 5, 2021, at Wismar Linden, he exposed his penis to a woman and unlawfully assaulted her.
Allman further denied the second set of charges alleging that on the same date and location, he assaulted his daughter and also damaged a dining chair valued at $80,000.
He admitted to the charge which alleged that on July 29, he made use of threatening language towards his daughter.
The Chief Magistrate released Allman on a total of $65,000 bail and discharged the threatening language charge against him. The case is adjourned to September 25, 2021.
