E’bo man forced into car trunk, beaten and left for dead
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction of a 25-year-old minibus driver from his Walton Hall, Essequibo Coast Region Two house on Monday night.
Imran Khan, also known as ‘Panko’ told the News Room that he was at home when the men attacked him; he said they tied him up, forced him into the trunk of a car and took him to Essequibo Technical Institute (ETI) road where he was severely beaten and left him for dead.
Khan told the News Room that the men beat him with wood and a gun and then escaped.
Khan was rescued by a passerby who took him to the hospital and the Anna Regina Police Station. This is a developing story and the News Room will provide more information in a subsequent report.
