Beepats is proud to announce their new partnership with one of the world’s largest brewing companies Annheuser Busch-Inbev (AB-Inbev) to bring the Presidente brand of beers to Guyana.
Presidente beer was originally created by Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Founded in 1929 by the American businessman Charles H. Wanzer the company was initially dedicated to importing European beers. It was not until 1935 that the company changed course and decided to brew their own beer, and that’s when Presidente was born.
Cervecería Nacional Dominicana was then acquired by AB InBev in 2012. Later on Presidente also began to be manufactured in the Saint Vincent brewery to integrate the brand within CARICOM countries.
Presidente is a beer closely linked to the nature of the Caribbean culture. It has a great presence in markets all over the world. With a very refreshing golden lager liquid, with 5% alcohol, smooth and light, with notes of malt and hops, it is ideal to take on summer nights with friends.
Crafting a delicious beer like Presidente, is half art, half science. It takes meticulously sourced ingredients to brew the complex and sophisticated flavors of the Caribbean. Beepats is a family owned distribution company that has serviced Guyana over many decades with quality products. They are a household name most recognized for being the official authorized distributor for Nestle, Connors Bros, Reckitt Benkeiser, Ozon soap powder, and more.
In a statement, an executive director of the company, Jonathan Beepat said, “We all know that Guyana is the subject of the world with our oil finds and we have made a decision to expand our typical portfolio to better serve Guyanese and foreigners alike. We have done our research on Presidente beer and believe it be an exciting and quality product with worldwide recognition. It is the first of a few beers we will be introducing to the market in partnership with AB-Inbev. Beepats have been providing quality products and service to Guyana for over 65 years, and we aim to continue that for many more to come.”
