As the build-up continues ahead of the prestigious Guyana Open on October 30-31, the Lusignan Golf Club will on Saturday host the inaugural Bruster’s Ice Cream Medal Play tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course.

The tournament, which will tee off at 12:30h, was initially intended for Easter Saturday, but had to be put off due to unforeseen circumstances.

Proprietor of Bruster’s Ice Cream, Paton George, who is also the Vice-president of the Lusignan Golf Club, is excited to finally have the action started and he is looking forward to a very competitive afternoon of golfing.

“Bruster’s is committed to sponsoring a yearly Easter Saturday golf tournament, as well as continuing its charitable contributions: the recipient of our inaugural $50,000 gift was the COLAACO School. We will also focus on growing the game in an inclusive way by teaming our customers’ passion for Bruster’s Ice Cream with the Lusignan Golf Club’s passion for golf,” George said.
