Jamual John continued his fine form on the saddle, carting off top honours in the 10th annual Kadir Mohamed Memorial Road Race, dubbed the ‘Ounce of Gold’ race, on Sunday.

The race started in front of Banks DIH, Thirst Park, proceeded to Dora on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway and returned to the start point for the finish.

John, who has demonstrated remarkable consistency this season, was the first to the finish line in three hours, 17 minutes, 21 seconds to win this particular event for the third time.

Ian Jackson won the Veterans Over-50 ahead of Garfield Lormer and Kennard Lovell in that order, while Grant-Stuart was the top Veterans Under-50 rider, finishing ahead of Mendes and Chooweenam.
