Man arrested for allegedly raping teen boys at knifepoint
Police have arrested a 39-year-old man from Region Six who allegedly raped three teen boys during last year, and between January 01 and October 08 this year.
Police said the victims are two brothers, aged 15 and 17, and a 16-year-old. They were reportedly raped multiple times at knifepoint, Police Headquarters reported.
The News Room understands that with permission from their parents, the teen boys would visit the suspect’s house to do chores.
“On several occasions, separately the victims were threatened at knifepoint by the suspect who then committed the acts on them against their will and consent,” the police reported.
Police said the boys did not report what was happening to anyone because they were threatened by the suspect.
However, “it became overbearing and the first victim told a family member what transpired,” the police stated.
Following a police report and investigations, the suspect was arrested on Sunday and remains in custody.
