Decomposed body of man found in Berbice
The decomposed body of 19-year-old Sanjay Mohabir was on Sunday found on a tree at Ball Dam, Cumberland, East Canje, Berbice.
Police were informed of the discovery at 11:50h by an unknown caller.
“The body was checked for marks of violence by the Police, but due to the advanced state of decomposition, such could not be determined,” Police said in a statement.
The body is presently at Bailey’s Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem examination.
