Police are investigating the death of Allison Noble, a 50-year-old woman of Vergenoegen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE), who was found unconscious at the Tuschen car park on Sunday night.
According to a police report, ranks at the Tuschen police outpost found the woman laying in the area at around 20:30hrs and residents revealed that she was consuming a mixture of Banko wine and Turbo energy drink “which resulted in her feeling unwell and causing her to collapsed on the said car park.”
She was then rushed to the Leonora Cottage Hospital where she was admitted a patient and later died at the said institution.
The body was checked but no marks of violence were seen on the most exposed parts of her body. An autopsy is expected to be conducted soon.
