World champions West Indies lost their World T20 warm-up game to Pakistan on Monday, going down by seven wickets in Dubai.

Shimron Hetmyer’s 28 off 24 balls (3x4s) was the top score in West Indies below-par 130-7, with skipper Kieron Pollard making 23 off 10 (5x4s) and Chris Gayle 20 off 30 (2x4s).

Bowling for Pakistan, Hasan Ali took 2-21, Haris Rauf 2-32 and Shaheen Shah Afridi 2-41.

Pakistan, in reply, coasted to victory in 15.3 overs with skipper Babar Azam making 50 off 41 balls (6x4s, 1×6) and Fakhar Zaman 46 not out off 24 (4x4s, 2x6s).

Leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr. took 2-41 off 3.3 overs.
