The Government of Guyana has changed the national curfew time to 12 midnight to 04:00hrs, according to the Official Gazette.
For many months, the curfew was set at 22:30hrs to 04:00hrs but now the new curfew time will be effective November 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021.
In addition to the change in curfew time, the government has also extended the time for the opening of businesses. Effective November 1, all businesses, including markets, can remain open until 23:00hrs.
The same also applies to bars and indoor and outdoor dining.
