The most decorated female golfer at the Guyana Open, Christine Sukhram, is leading at the end of day one of the 2021 event, while former champion Avinda Kishore is ahead in the Men’s category.
Over 70 golfers started the two-day competition on Saturday morning, and by the end of the day, it was clear who are favourites for the various categories, namely Ladies, Men’s 0-9 handicap, 10-18 and 19-28.
