Police are on the hunt for a man who reportedly murdered a so far unidentified male on Saturday night at Longden and Commerce Streets, Georgetown.
Police Headquarters reported that the incident occurred at around 19:30hrs.
The dead man is believed to be between the age of 35 to 40.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim and suspect had an argument during which the suspect stabbed the victim several times with a pointed object.
The victim collapsed and was seen with his intestines protruding and what appeared to be blood stains; he was pronounced dead by EMT doctors at the Central Fire Station Ambulance Service and was later escorted to the Memorial Gardens.
The suspect fled the scene.
