Shepherd cracks 39* off 11; Thomas takes hat-trick in Abu Dhabi T10

Guyanese all-rounder Romario Shepherd impressed with the bat, and his fellow Caribbean counterpart Oshane Thomas took a hat-trick on Wednesday when action continued in the Abu Dhabi T10.

Shepherd cracked a top score of 39 not out off 11 balls as Delhi Bulls posted 121-4 against Team Abu Dhabi. The strongly-built right-hander muscled four sixes and three fours.

Luke Wright made 25 off 17 and Rahmanullah Gurbaz 22 off 13, as Danny Briggs took 2-20.

Opener Phil Salt then struck 56 off 23 (3x4s, 5x6s) as Team Abu Dhabi won by six wickets off the last delivery. West Indies Dominic Drakes took 2-12.

Jamaican fast bowler Thomas took 3-21, claiming a wicket off the final three balls of his two-over spell, as Chennai Braves were dismissed for 133, chasing 153.

Northern Warriors had posted 152-4, a total built on an opening partnership of 106 in 6.1 overs between Kennar Lewis and Moeen Ali, who both made 49 off 19 balls.

The pair combined for nine fours and eight sixes. Rovman Powell chipped in with 28* off 12 (1×4, 3x6s).
