Two teenage boys, ages 15 and 17, were remanded to the Juvenile Holding Centre on Wednesday for reportedly robbing a cell phone store at Springlands, Corriverton, Berbice. It is alleged that the teens broke into the store sometime between September 25 and 27.
They appeared virtually before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh at the No. 51 Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. They were not required to plea to the charge. The matter was postponed until January 06, 2021.
Police Headquarters reported that the teens were arrested on November 20.
