GFF/K&S Super 16 strikes ‘gold’ with Dinar Trading sponsorship

Dinar Trading has thrown its support behind the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/Kashif and Shanghai Super 16 Cup, becoming the latest company to sponsor the elite year-end competition.

Clifton Singh, Manager at Dinar Trading, one of Guyana’s leading gold, diamond and currency trading firms, recently presented the monetary donation to Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major of the K&S Organisation.

“We are happy to welcome Dinar Trading on board for this incredible tournament,” Major said.

“Support like this from corporate Guyana is vital for the successful delivery of the competition and we look forward to welcoming more partners into our team as we near kick off.”

Singh said Dinar Trading was proud of its long-term track record in supporting football competitions, and that the firm was happy to provide further resources for the development of sport in Guyana.

“As passionate football fans and proud sponsors of the sport, we are excited to see this GFF-K&S competition come to fruition as football returns to play,” Singh said.

GFF President Wayne Forde thanked Dinar Trading for its contribution to the competition.

“On behalf of the GFF, I would like to praise Dinar Trading for providing this support. It is inspiring to see that corporate Guyana is really getting behind the GFF-K&S Super 16 Cup,” Forde said.

“We encourage more companies to partner with us as we roll out what promises to be a spectacular return to senior competition over the holiday season.”

The GFF-K&S Super 16 Cup is scheduled to be held over the period December 12 to January 1, the GFF Women’s Super 16 Festival 2021 to be held over the period December 11 to January 2 and the GFF-K&S Futsal Championship to be held over the period December 14 to January 8 will be played in venues across the country.

They include Georgetown, Buxton, St Cuthbert’s Mission, Providence, Leonora, Linden, New Amsterdam, Bartica, and Essequibo.
