PMTC lads win Trophy Stall Volleyball League in Berbice

After about a month of home and away games, Port Mourant Training Centre (PMTC) emerged champions of the Berbice Volleyball Association’s League competition, hosted in partnership with the Trophy Stall Berbice branch.

PMTC, coached by the experienced Levi Nedd, won the championship game at the newly refurbished Blairmont hardcourt.

Played under floodlights, the three-best-in-five final ended 3-0 in favour of PMTC against Rollers of New Amsterdam. PMTC won the first set 28-26, took the second 25-18 and closed out the contest with a 25-22 success in the third.

The other side in the three-team competition was Vikings of Blairmont.

The top individual performers of the tournament were Steffon Norah of PMTC (MVP), Errol Fingall of Rollers (Best Setter) and Ronaldo Bobb of PMTC (Best Attacker).
